Several customers have reported issues in amounts (mostly with decimal values) not being accepted righly in SahiGST. Unlike CSV which is plain text, Excel includes a lot of formatting and custom wrappers over the data being submitted. This at times causes issues due to multiple reasons. However we are suggesting a workaround to make sure your data is read properly when uploaded into SahiGST.
Our workaround involves a simple ‘setting’ in Excel being activated. This is “Set Precision As Displayed’.
Simply selecting this option should clear a lot of number issues within Excel. Here are examples of where to find this setting in various Excel versions.

This option is also available in Excel 2007 & 2010.
